Dr. Stanek grew up in Kingsford. After attending Northern Michigan University for undergraduate studies, he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He has been in practice since 2011 and started Stanek Chiropractic in 2017.
Chiropractic was first introduced to him in high school after sustaining a neck injury while playing football. After seeing the positive results that conservative care could offer, he decided to pursue a career in chiropractic. Since this time Dr. Stanek has seen that chiropractic can help alleviate more than back and neck pain. This is why he sees the benefits of treating patients of all ages from infants to geriatrics.
Outside of his office, Dr. Stanek enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and children, Kelsey and Benjamin. They enjoy summer weekends at Sarah's family's 'camp' on the Dead River Basin in Negaunee. He also enjoys mountain biking, lifting weights, and the Packers.
Tina has been with Stanek Chiropractic since it opened in June of 2017, overseeing the administrative
functions in the office. She is responsible for helping facilitate, coordinate, and schedule for Dr. Stanek and the massage therapists.
Tina believes it is important that each patient has a positive experience and feels a critical aspect of her job is planning, which allows the office to run smoothly.
Tina lives in Iron Mountain with her husband, Gregg and her chihuahua, Gabby. She has two grown children, Jake and Haley, and one grand-dog, Muna. In her free time, Tina is on a quest to make and eat great plant based foods.
She is the friendly voice that will most likely greet you when you call the office!
